Did Gray Fullbuster Just Flat Out Reject Juvia?

3 comments
Once again, SPOILER ALERT!
If you haven't read ch. 388 yet, you should first.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did I just see Gray rejecting Juvia!? O.O Oh no, he did not.. >.<* Out of all the things he has done, this is by far the worst thing he'd ever said, even if it wasn't really taken as seriously. This hardcore GruVia fan is going furious still. Is this his new resolve?
I hope not; I meant like, Gray and Juvia are meant for each other. T-T And he just said, "I don't" when Juvia declared her love. On top of that, he turned his back on her and walked away, only to turn his head back and said, "I'm going to honestly say no to stuff I don't like from now on." From what I see, Gray just indirectly said that he "doesn't" like Juvia. Like what the heck!? I swear I really wanna punch Gray's face right about now.. >< Don't say that to Juvia, and don't break this GruVia fan's heart, you bastard!! >< Gray, u darn bastard!! >//< Despite the fact that I love you, I can still rip your face off for saying that to Juvia.. And that facial expression, too.. You $(&%()#%)! Yes, sorry for my foul language, but he really ticked me off there. Especially with that cold face of his. What happened to all the developments in the previous chapters? T-T  If Gray doesn't redeem himself, I swear I would really, really start to root for Lyon (even though he indirectly mentioned giving up on Juvia).
Juvia Lockster Stops Using 3rd Person!?
0 comments
-->SPOILERS ALERT<--
I've warned you, so read at your own risks.
~~~~~~~~~

To be honest, I've been really excited about chapter 388 since last week.. lol.. I mean like, with the gate destroyed and the dragons all gone, it's the celebration time, right? Not to mention, this week has 3 chapters all to itself. One thing caught me by surprise though. The fact that Juvia seems to be talking in 1st person now. She told Gray something about her entering the new era and being a new version of Juvia (Juvia 2.0), then she started to drop her habit of speaking in 3rd person. And of course, being the Juvia fan I was, I noticed it soon afterward. Her first 1st person outburst was when she said, "Gray-sama, I love you!" Yep, there are two things wrong with this- Juvia referring herself as "I" and Juvia saying "you". Yeah, definitely first person speech there. Her first
 person talk did not just end with her sudden confession of love. It continues on. Gray said, : "I don't", and something like he will start saying no to the things he doesn't like (I'll elaborate on that more later ==). Instead of sulking around, Juvia being the typical cheerful Juvia said, "You're wonderful even when you criticize me, Gray-sama!" Again with her first person talk.
Chapter 388 also wasn't  the end of it since Juvia continued to be like this even in chapter 340. Gray looked a bit depressed (due to Ultear's problem), and Juvia, of course, noticed everything about her Gray-sama. She told him not to look depressed for the sake of other people. "I don't know what's wrong, but it's not nice to the rest to make such a face." Once again, Juvia used "I" instead of her usual "Juvia" when referring to herself. After Gray finally smiled, she once again went a bit over the top saying, "Oh no! What is this? You're so cool, I love it!"

From whichever ways you look at it, Juvia seems to drop her habit of speaking in third person, and starts to talk normally. I'm not exactly sure what's happening either since it has been only 2 chapters that she has been like this. So all we can do right now is wait and see what will happens next. But it is quite obvious that she had dropped her old habit.

When the Ice Clash Ch. 1

Pairing: Gray, Juvia, Lyon
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I do not own Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima does. I only came up with the plot here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
              It was a typical day at Fairy Tail. Everyone was busy fighting with each other over small, silly things. Tables and chairs flew around with their pieces falling off after being smashed against the wall or the floor. “Erza, fight me!” shouted Natsu as he rushed full speed toward the equip mage. With just one move, she knocked Natsu out flat on the ground without even budging from her seat.
“That kid, when will he ever learn?” Laxus who sat at the guild’s bar sighed.
“Tsk, iodiot!” Gray could only shake at head at what his rival-friend did.
“A-re, A-re... That’s Natsu for you,” said Mira from behind the counter while cleaning her plate. “He’ll never give up.”
The guild’s door opened revealing the celestial mage coming in, while trying her best to avoid all the flying objects. “Arrghhh! I swear one of these days, our guild will be destroyed again,” growled Lucy as she sat down next to Gray at the counter.
“That’s what makes this guild fun. Everyone is just so lively,” stated Mira as she gazed over the chaotic guild hall.
“Maybe a bit too lively,” face-palmed Lucy.
“What’s up, Lucy? You seemed a bit stressed out,” asked Gray who was listening the whole time.
“Rent money, what else? I have to go on missions soon if I don’t want to move out.”
JUVIA’S P.O.V:
From behind a pillar, Juvia saw it all. The chaotic mess resulting from the fight, the broken tables and chairs, Cana hugging her barrels, and the clearest of all, her Beloved Gray-sama talking to her “love rival”. Gray-sama is talking to Lucy-san. Seemed like he is comforting her. Gray-sama is comforting Juvia’s love rival, and not her. Why not Juvia instead? Does Gray-sama like Lucy-san more? He looks happy. How come he had never have that expression when he’s with Juvia? Does he not like Juvia?” Not wanting to see the scene farther, Juvia turned around and headed toward the guild’s door. She was going to straight to Fairy Hill so that she could have a rest and clear her thoughts. Lucy-san is Gray-sama’s nakama. It’s his duty to take care of her, right? But isn’t Juvia also his nakama? Why are we so distant?
            After Juvia reached her dorm in Fairy Hill, she took a quick shower and then went straight to bed even though it was only 3 in the afternoon. She also skipped dinner that night because she couldn’t find her appetite, and just continue with her sleep. After a good night sleep of more than 12 hours, Juvia could finally clear up her head and decided on a resolve. Juvia will aske Gray-sama to go on mission with her today so that we won’t be as distant anymore.
NORMAL P.O.V:
The guild was buzzing with the usual noises of breaking chairs and clashing beer mugs. Juvia came through the door and eyed for her Gray-sama. She quickly found Gray already at the request board. “Ohayo, Gray-sama!” Juvia’s greeted him with her most cheerful smile.
“Ummm, ohayo,” replied Gray who was still looking at the request board.
“Ummm, ano... Gray-sama...,” said Juvia fidgety while twirling around her pointing fingers.
“Not now, Juvia,” Gray cut her words while still looking at the board. “I’m looking for a job now.”
“Ohhhh... About that,” Juvia attempted again while swaying her body left and right. “Juvia was wondering if Gray-sama could....”
“Yosha! This is the one!” Gray suddenly shouted while punching up into the air.
“Did Gray-sama find a job that he likes?”
“Yup! It’s perfect! This could pay at least two months of Lucy’s rent,” answered Gray happily while looking at Juvia for the first time.
“Ohhhh,” Juvia’s smile dropped.
“By the way, were you saying something?”
“Umm, it’s nothing,” answered Juvia as she looked down at the ground.
“ ‘kay then, I gotta go. See you, Juvia!” smile Gray before running toward Natsu and Lucy. “Lucy! I just found a perfect mission for your rent! Let’s all go with everyone!”
It has always been about Lucy-san, right Gray-sama?
~~~~~~~~~~
Author Note: Hai, Pinky Berry is back!! :3 This is the love triangle that I've been thinking about. You gotta love the triangle between Gray, Juvia, and Lyon. Since this is a triangular love, Lyon will appear later. I'm not gonna tell you which two are going to meet. You'll have to read it yourself. For those of you who read The Fallen Rain, sorry this one is not as good.. T-T

This is a fan fiction dedicated Fairy Tail.
Pairing: Gray Fullbuster & Juvia Lockster
Disclaimer: Fairy Tail and all its characters belong to Hiro Mashima. Trust me, if i do, Gray and Juvia would get together ages ago. =.= I only own this fan fiction and the plot here.
~~~~~~
Juvia’s P.O.V:
            “She’s annoying.. Annoying..” Gray’s words replayed over and over again in Juvia’s head. Yeah, she knew she’s annoying and gloomy; always was, always will be. As she walked through the rain, without any destination, she also found herself raining from her eyes. “Drip, drip, drop... Drip, drip, drop....” Juvia is forever condemned with the rain. She is very tired now. She’s tired of the rain. She’s tired of being alone. She’s tired of herself. Juvia loves Fairy Tail; she also loves Gray-sama, who gave her new hope in living. Hope that there is actually a place where she belongs. But Gray-sama doesn’t love Juvia; she heard it with her own ears To him, she is just a nakama who is annoying. Then, what’s the point for Juviato carry on? Gray-sama will be only a memory in her heart, if she even have a heart left.
            As she walked aimlessly under the rain, each step became harder to walk. Her lips trembled; all Juvia could see from behind her watery eyes were more water. More rain. Why does Juvia feel like everything is crashing down on her? Juvia can’t breathe; it hurts. It’s like her heart is being squished. What is this? Images of Gray-sama flash into her head. After each image, it gets worse. Her heart tightens a bit more each time. Why does it hurt so much thinking of Gray-sama? All she feels is pain. “She’s just my nakama. I will never think of her more than that....” Her heart actually stopped beating and tied itself into a knot. Juvia knew this, but hearing it hurts her even more. Especially directly from him. The words are like betrayal to her hope and dream. How much more can Juvia take this pain?” Her complexity became paler from her cries; even her breathing became unstable and fainter. Juvia’s heart is breaking into pieces; it hurts so much....” At this, her heart tightened tighter; her breathing fastened.
“Juvia!” A voice was calling her name from the distant. “Juvia!” It seemed to be getting closer every second.
“Gray-sama...,”Juvia whispered as the darkness closed in on her.
Gray’s P.O.V:
“Juvia!” After running amok for what seemed like eternity, I finally found her. I figured she would walk the opposite direction of the guild from the inn. “Juvia!” I called out to her, hoping she would hear me with all the raindrops and thunders in the background. When she finally turned around, she seemed to be staggering on her feet and lost her balance. “Juvia!” I rushed forward with all my energy left to catch her before she drop to the wet ground, only to relize that the pale, fragile body in my arms has already lost consciousness.
Normal P.O.V:
After Gray found Juvia in the rain, he took her back to the inn in his arms bridal style. Seeing that they returned, Lucy rushed out to Juvia’s aid. Everyone else came rushing toward Gray asking many questions of where did he find her or what did she say. Juvia, who was still unconscious, was laid on a bed with everyone on either side of the bed.
“She seemed to be running high on fever. Hard to imagine a water mage being sick from the rain.” Wendy pulled the blanket over Juvia and placed a wet towel on her forehead.
“I think we should get her back to the guild, where there is proper infirmary. Her fever is really high.” Erza said while looking at the other mages for their approval nods.
In a matter of hours, Juvia was back at the guild, still unconsciously lying down on the infirmary’s bed. Gray was on the side of the bed looking at her face, trying to observe her conditions, while his hands never let go of Juvia’s. Ever since he found her collapsing in the rain a few hours back, Gray never her out of his sight. He never went away from her side.
“Gray, you should find something to eat first and go rest,” Cana came into the room seeing Gray’s hair in a messy lock and his face paled up.
“It’s okay. I want to be the first person to know about Juvia’s wellbeing.”
Many long hours past, Juvia was still lying unconscious though her fever was going down. Gray, who never once moved an inch, was on the side of the bed with his head resting on her bed; his hands still firmly holding Juvia’s.
Unknowing to Gray, the fragile form on the bed started to shuffle under the blanket. Slowly her eyes opened, and then closed again due to the sudden bright light. After half a second later, the blue eyes opened again before turning her head to see the sleeping man beside her.
Author Note:  Hey, Pinky Berry is back!! This is quite an emotional chapter for me.. T-T I almost cried while writing the first half of this. Okay, please read and give me feedbacks because I still have a lot to improve. Tell me what you think of the plot. Constructed criticisms are also welcome. ^o^
By the way, next chapter, Gray will be in for a surprise...
Previously:
 “Juvia loves Fairy Tail so much that she doesn’t want them to be stuck with Juvia anymore. Juvia is just too gloomy. Too annoying. So Fairy Tail, sayonara...”
~~~~~~
        “Gray! Natsu! Lu-chan! Minna!” Levy started a ruckus in the middle of the night. “Minna! Come out! Hurry!”
“What’s going on Levy?” Natsu came out with Happy on his head with both their eyes barely opened. “When I was just having a good dream, too.”
“Aye...”Said Happy while rubbing his eyes.
“What happened, Levy-san?” asked Wendy, with everyone else walking out of their room behind her.
“Why did you call us?” asked Lucy, whose hair still stuck out in every direction. “Levy? Eh? Why are you crying?”
“Hik hik... Juvia... Hik hik...”she stuttered the words between her sobs while falling down onto the ground. “Juvia....”
“What’s wrong with Juvia?” upon hearing her name, Gray asked while looking around. “By the way, where is she?”
“She, she...hik hik...”Levy attempted to answer. “She’s... hik hik.. she’s gone.. hik hik..” A crumbled letter fell out of her trembling hand.
“What!?!? Whatcha mean she’s gone!?”Lucy panicked while picking up the letter.
“Lemme see!” Gray suddenly rushed toward Lucy to read the letter.
Dear Erza-san, Lucy-san, and everyone in Fairy Tail,
            Juvia wants to thank everyone in Fairy Tail for taking care of her. Hontoni arigatou. Fairy Tail is like family to Juvia. In fact, it is the first family Juvia ever had. Juvia really loves Fairy Tail and everyone. But because she loves them so much, she had to let go of Fairy Tail. Juvia doesn’t want to bother everyone with her constant gloom and annoyance of the rain anymore .So,sayonara. Thank you for everything, Fairy Tail. Thank you for showing her sunshine and everything else, Gray.
Sincerely,
Juvia
      “Juvia....”Gray tried to find his voice, but it turned out to be just a faint whisper.
“Gray... Gray... hrmm...” Then something clicked. “EHHHH!?!? SINCE WHEN DID JUVIA START CALLING GRAY, GRAY!?!?” Lucy pointed out. “Did something happen?” She eyed Gray suspiciously.
“Erza,” Gray started whispering again. “I think Juvia heard us.”
“GRAY, YOU BASTARD!! What did you say?” Natsu, who hadn’t say anything since Levy pulled out the letter, rushed to strangle Gray’s neck as if wanting to take the very life out of Gray.
“Natsu! Calm down!” Erza, knocked Natsu off of Gray.
“Juvia, she was crying! I can smell it. Her tears are all over the place!”
Gray stopped breathing for a while. Juvia was crying? Juvia? She hasn’t cried ever since her Phantom Lord days....
“I heard the rain outside, hik hik, so I came out to see... hik hik...”Levy calmed down a bit and said, “I saw Juvia’s door opened, so I went to check on her, but no one was there... hik hik....”
The lightning flashed everywhere, filling the sky with white stripes. The rain fell from the sky, piecing through the air and wind. It looked as if it will break apart; the lightning stripes only made it look worse. Like the sky was actually cracking open and being ripped apart.
“Gray!” Lucy shouted as Gray started dashing outside.
“Natshu,” Happy who was by then fully awake asked Natsu with concern. “Will Juvia be alright?”
“Of course, Juvia is strong. She is a Fairy Tail mage after all,” Natsu replied with renewed confidence.

Gray’s Point of View:
“Juvia... Juvia, where are you?” Before I knew it, I was already outside the inn running like maniac. The only picture I had in my head was of Juvia. Pictures of her smiles, her laughter, her embarrassed face when she talks to me. Looking up to the sky, those pictures shattered. Only to be replaced by other scenes. Juvia must be crying now. Not just some light sobs, but real cries. Real tears. Real pain. This rain is no joke; the sky might fall anytime soon. And I caused all of these. Unknowingly, I’ve caused Juvia pain. I, Gray Fullbuster, who Juvia had claimed to show her the first sunshine, now has brought the rain back to her.
                                                                                        ~~~~~~
Author note: Gomene for writing such a depressing, intense story. But like I said, I like sad, touchy story, though I don't think mine is touchy and emotional enough. =.= I'm still learning... And one more point, Juvia controls the rain, so when she's sad, it's only right that the rain is also pouring down. ^^
Juvia’s Point of View
Juvia loved her Gray-sama. She still does now. Ever since the first time she has met him, her heart goes “doki doki” every time she has met him. We were enemies before; Juvia had to fight Gray-sama because of Phantom Lord. Juvia thinks she fell for him even before he showed her sunshine. Being the Rain Woman, rain had always follow Juvia everywhere. Gray-sama showed her sunshine. For the first time in her life, Juvia saw the light shines upon her. “Sunshine is beautiful, nee?” Gray-sama asked with the widest smile Juvia had ever seen.
Except that Juvia is still the Rain Woman. Though rain doesn’t follow Juvia all the time anymore, she still has the gloomy presence because she is still the Rain Woman after all.
Normal P.O.V:
Three months before Daimatou Enbu, Team Natsu, Shadow Gear, plus Juvia came to the beach for training. But being the usual Fairy Tail, plus Juvia came to the beach for training. But being the usual Fairy Tail, it’s party first before the real deal. Everyone was enjoying themselves at the beach.
“Huh? Juvia? Why don’t you take off your coat?” Erza raised an eyebrow when Juvia was staggering toward her.
“Juvia just bought a new swimsuit, and she wants Gray-sama to be the first one to see her in it. But he is too busy competing with Natsu-kun,” said Juvia while looking down in disapointment.
Later that night at the inn, Erza confronted Gray. “Gray, you do know of Juvia’s feeling for you, right?” Seeing that Gray only stay still with a blushed up face, she continued. “What do you think of her?”
Gray stuttered and said, “S-s-she’s my nakama. I will never see her more than that. B-besides, she’s creepy and annoying with all the stalking!”
“Gray!”Erza shouted. As soon as Gray that, he wished he hadn’t. “If you don’t like her, stop leading her on. You have to be more resolute because it will only hurt her more. Unless, you think other wise...,”she smirked while looking at him.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the tomato-faced Gray said.
Meanwhile behind the corner of the wall, Juvia was petrified.
*To Be Continued..*
Gray Fullbuster Dead?.... No Freakin' Way!
31 comments
---> Spoiler Alert<--- If you haven't read Fairy Tail ch. 334 yet, you should read it first because this post contains a lot of spoiler.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, just this morning, I was all excited because tonight is Fairy Tail manga new chapter release. Just an hour ago, I was thrilled to read the new chapter. I was happy, I actually grinned like an idiot when Gray pushed Juvia and Meredy away from the shot because it showed that he cares about her.

 THEN, he told Juvia he had something to tell her.
Yes, I was literally jumping out of my bed. HE WAS GONNA CONFESS TO HER! or so I thought. =.= IT had to happen (thanks a lot Mashima). Some stupid dragon had to shoot toward Juvia's direction, and Gray then of course jumped in front of her and shove her away, while getting the shot himself.

Gray was shot while trying to protect Juvia. Juvia. You can look at it both ways. The major GruVia moment there, and the fact that Gray was shot big time there. The first shot was at his heart. The next few shots were on his body; his arm looked like it ripped, and blood was squirting out. And Juvia? Out of the question. T-T And finally, he was finished off with a shot in the head.

      It seems like this time, Hiro Mashima is really trolling all fans a major big time. Like, Gray Fullbuster is dead!? No way freakin' way. I refuse to believe this because there are so many, many reasons to why Gray cannot die. So, on the more logical terms, Ultear is acting fishy in this chapter. She was remorse for what she'd done before and thought that her sin is hard to be forgiven and get rid of. And what is Ultear's magic again? Yes right, Time Arc. It seemed like her Time Arc magic has the power to bring things back to life (like that time the tree on Tenroujima came back to life). And what is Gray to her? He's almost, almost like a brother to her because of their connection to Ul. Since she is trying to redeem herself, it seemed relevant that she will help him out; maybe at the cost of her own life? After all, the title of this chapter is "Sin and Sacrifice". The next chapter title is "The Time of Life", which leads to another more solid hypothesis. Ultear's magic is "time" and "life" as in either Gray's or her own life. The title could be the metaphor of this whole predicament.
It is most likely that Ultear will be able to help Gray, maybe with the cost of her own life. Gray will be fine; I believe  so. With this being said, I still have my own doubt and fear. What if Mashima-sensei tries to shock us for real? After all, he did kill Rena, who was the Juvia-figure in Rave. What if this time, he would kill Gray instead of Juvia? Yes, to be honest, I was worried that Juvia would end up like Rena because she looks like the kind to die while trying to protect her Gray-sama. But now, Mashima-sensei made it the opposite with Gray trying to protect Juvia instead. Many what if's came into my head, and I have my own fears, but I refuse to believe to believe that anything bad would happen to Gray. He'll be fine, somehow. He will be. Besides, he told Juvia he had
something to tell her. He didn't get to her, yet. And looking at his facial expression and the situation there, it must be something very important. Yes, I'm an obvious GruVia fan. ^^ I mean, why would Gray want to tell Juvia something in the middle of a fight, war even, if it's not something important like he said? Is it the long awaited moment when he finally say "the words"? For now, no one knows the real answer beside Mashima-sensei himself. If it's really that important, Gray would definitely be okay because he still have to tell whatever he wanted to tell her. Since he didn't have the chance to tell her, yet, he will come back alive and tell her. So rest assure, Gray will be fine ( I hope ><). Besides, this was a major improvement on GruVia. He saved her not once, but twice in just a few minutes. His first reaction to that shot was shoving Juvia aside so that she would be okay. Lyon was also there, but Gray was lightning speed. GruVia shippers, you know what this means? Yes, Gray really cares about Juvia's well-being; more than a nakama because he even reacted faster than Lyon, who boldly proclaims his love for her.
It was always obvious that Gray has a thing for her, and this confirms whatever doubt you might have about his feeling for her. Whatever happens in the next chapter, Gray will be fine. Or so I would like to believe. If not next chapter, it's sometime near the end of the arc. It's like placing a bet on Mashima-sensei's writing, and I bet on the good possibilities. Let's wait until next chapter, ne?
